Krishna Sharan Mishra

Krishna has experience of around 18 years in handling issues in the fields of Contracts Management, Trade Marks Management, FEMA, Employees Stock Option Plans, Joint Venture Deals and other general Corporate Compliance Advisory. He extensively represents corporates before NCLT in merger and Insolvency proceedings.
He is the Founder of KSM Associates, a firm of Company Secretaries (www.ksmassociates.net) headquartered in Chennai, India. KSM Associates has been “Peer Reviewed” by ICSI.
Krishna has been one of the specialist editors of the book "Guide to the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code" published by Wadhwa Publications launched in April, 2021.
He has also been one of the co-authors of "Handbook on Arbitration" published by Centre of Excellence, Hyderabad of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in the year 2022 (ICSI).
He has been one of the co-authors of "Premier on Company Law" published by ICSI.
He has also extensively assisted the co-authors, Late Mr. N R Sridharan and Mr. Arvindh Pandian (Sr. Advocate), of "Guide to Takeover and Mergers" published by LexisNexisWadhwa (Formerly Wadhwa Publications) in bringing out the 3rd and 4th editions of the book.
He is a Fellow Company Secretary, a registered Trade Marks Attorney and a Law Graduate. He also holds PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law School, Bangalore. He passed with a Bachelor’s (Hons.) degree in Economics from Delhi University.
Krishna has been a visiting faculty for Company Law for three years in an in-house Training Academy in Chennai run by one of the Big Four Audit firms. He is also regularly invited by the Institute of Company Secretaries, Institute of Chartered Accountants and several MBA institutes to address.
He has worked with Organisations like Polaris Software Lab Ltd, Murugappa Group of Companies and Taj Group of Companies.
He is one of the first Practicing Company Secretaries in Tamil Nadu to a Trade Marks Agent. He has extensively handled plethora of issues under Trade Marks laws like registration, opposition, assignment, licencing and infringement. He has also been advising on issues in Copyright and Patent.
He is one of the few Company Secretaries to handle the whole transaction of mergers/demergers starting from advisory, drafting upto the stage of representation before the NCLT.
Krishna is particularly fond of understanding thought-leadership from highly talked about Indian philosophy contained in Gita and memoirs of entrepreneurs.

Deepa V. Ramani

Deepa has around 22 years of experience in advisory in corporate structuring, formulation of compliance road maps, Secretarial Audit, Due diligence, Joint Ventures, Mergers & Amalgamation, dealing with Stock Exchanges, FEMA compliances, ESOPs and other regular secretarial matters.
She has been one of the specialist editors of the book "Guide to the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code" published by Wadhwa Publications launched in April, 2021.
She is an Insolvency Professional and a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She also holds degree in LLB and has Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a renowned college in Chennai.
As Insolvency Professional: She became an Insolvency Professional in June 2017. During the past five years she has lived the profession with a 360 degree perspective acting in various roles of IRP, RP, Liquidator, representative of Operational Creditors, contributing to Settlements and has been part of IBC proceedings before the NCLT, NCLAT, High Court, Supreme Court and High Court of Singapore leading to landmark judgements. She has also been engaged in formulation of approaches and brainstorming with various stakeholders in IBC proceedings including drafting of Resolution Plans for Resolution Applicants.
She has worked with Organisations like

She has also headed a well-known company in watch retail in Chennai.
